Audiomack Pro Goes Global

The relationship between artists and streaming platforms is changing.

For years, artists have had access to basic numbers: streams, followers, likes and perhaps a breakdown of where their listeners are located. But knowing that a song was streamed 100,000 times is very different from knowing what actually kept listeners engaged.

Audiomack is now pushing further into that territory.

Following a beta period, the music streaming and discovery platform has officially launched Audiomack Pro globally, making the paid creator subscription available to artists worldwide. The rollout introduces a broader set of artist tools, with the new Song Pulse analytics feature at the centre of the offering.

Audiomack says its platform reaches more than 60 million monthly users, while supporting unlimited music uploads for artists. Its catalogue includes music from the three major record companies as well as more than 400 independent labels.

For independent artists in particular, the development represents a shift from simply measuring performance to trying to understand the behaviour behind it.

The Big Addition: Song Pulse

The headline feature of Audiomack Pro is Song Pulse.

Rather than treating a song as one overall streaming number, Song Pulse provides more granular information about listener engagement throughout a track.

According to Audiomack's launch information, artists can use the feature to identify moments where listeners are most engaged, including patterns around skips, stops, replays, shares and favourites.

That could change how artists approach promotion.

Consider a four-minute song that generates strong streaming numbers. Traditional analytics might tell an artist that the record is performing well. Song-level engagement data can potentially reveal which section of that record is responsible for the strongest response.

That information can then inform short-form content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

In other words, instead of asking:

"Which song is performing?"

Artists can begin asking:

"Which moment of this song is connecting with people?"

That is a much more useful question for a modern music campaign.

What Comes With Audiomack Pro?

Audiomack Pro is structured as a monthly subscription, with an annual option also available. Audiomack's current creator page lists the monthly plan at $3.99, while the annual plan is listed at $39 per year.

The package includes several features beyond Song Pulse.

Advanced analytics

Pro gives artists expanded statistics covering audience behaviour and engagement, including real-time play counts and additional listener data.

For artists actively running release campaigns, this can provide additional information for evaluating what is working and where audiences are coming from.

Faster verification

Audiomack Pro includes expedited access to Audiomack's verification system and its orange verification badge. Pro users can also add animated GIF avatars to their profiles.

Immediate monetisation access

Another significant change is access to the Audiomack Monetization Program (AMP).

Audiomack says Pro members can gain immediate access to monetisation rather than waiting to meet the platform's standard eligibility thresholds. Eligibility and monetisation still depend on the platform's applicable terms and requirements.

Audiomack Boost benefits

Pro subscribers also receive additional benefits when using Audiomack Boost, the platform's promotional tool.

Audiomack's current Pro information says subscribers receive 20% more reach on Boost campaigns, alongside location targeting designed to help artists reach relevant listeners.

New releases on Discover

The Pro package also provides additional visibility for new uploads, with Audiomack stating that Pro releases can be featured on the Discover area of the platform upon release.

Priority support

Pro subscribers receive priority customer support, another feature aimed at artists who depend on their streaming accounts as part of their professional operations.

Audiomack Is Also Building the Direct-to-Fan Relationship

Audiomack Pro is not the platform's only recent development around artist-fan engagement.

Audiomack continues to expand Audiomack Connect, its direct messaging feature within the free Audiomack Creator App.

The feature allows artists to communicate directly with followers, moving the relationship beyond passive streaming. Audiomack has described this approach as reducing the distance between artists and their audiences.

The distinction is important.

A stream tells an artist that someone listened.

A message can tell the artist why that listener cares.

Together, direct communication and deeper behavioural analytics point towards a more audience-focused approach to artist development.

Why This Matters for Independent Artists

The significance of Audiomack Pro is not simply that Audiomack has introduced another paid subscription.

The more important development is the growing amount of actionable data being placed in the hands of artists.

Independent musicians often operate without the research departments, label analysts and marketing teams available to major acts. A streaming dashboard therefore becomes more than a reporting tool. It can become part of the artist's decision-making infrastructure.

If an artist can identify where listeners replay a song, where they stop listening, where they engage most strongly and which markets are responding, that information can influence everything from social-media content to advertising and release strategy.

It does not eliminate the need for creative judgement. But it gives that judgement more evidence to work with.

A Particularly Relevant Development for Africa

The development is notable for African artists, where Audiomack has established a significant presence among independent and emerging musicians.

For artists building audiences across markets such as Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and South Sudan, detailed audience information can be particularly useful because streaming audiences frequently extend beyond an artist's home market.

A song released in Juba can find listeners in Nairobi. A record from Lagos can travel to London. A Kenyan artist can discover an audience in the United States without physically being there.

The challenge has increasingly become not simply reaching those listeners, but understanding them.

Tools such as Song Pulse are designed to provide another layer of information that can help artists examine that relationship.

From Streaming Numbers to Audience Intelligence

There is a broader industry trend behind Audiomack's announcement.

Streaming platforms increasingly function as data environments as much as music libraries. Artists are being given more information about who listens, how audiences behave and how releases perform.

Audiomack's latest move places more of that information directly inside the artist workflow.

Its own positioning is straightforward. Audiomack co-founder and CMO David Ponte said the company wants to reduce the distance between artists and fans and help artists build audiences and get their music heard globally.

Audiomack's approach is therefore moving beyond the traditional model of:

Upload → Stream → Count

and towards:

Upload → Measure → Understand → Engage → Promote → Monetise

That distinction matters.

What Artists Should Watch

Audiomack Pro does not guarantee a hit record, increased virality or a larger fanbase.

Data can identify patterns, but artists still have to interpret those patterns correctly.

A high-replay section might make an excellent short-form clip. A drop-off point might reveal an intro that is too long. A particular market might show unexpected interest in a record. A strong share rate could indicate that a song has social potential.

Those are signals, not automatic answers.

The value ultimately comes from what artists do with the information.

And that may be the most interesting aspect of Audiomack Pro.

The platform is giving artists more tools to understand the behaviour happening behind the stream count.

The Next Phase of Artist Analytics

Audiomack Pro arrives at a time when independent artists have more control over their careers than ever before, but also face a much more competitive digital environment.

Music distribution is easier.

Publishing content is easier.

Reaching an audience is technically easier.

Getting people to pay attention is not.

That makes audience intelligence increasingly valuable.

With Audiomack Pro and Song Pulse, the platform is betting that artists want more than a number showing how many times their song was played. They want to understand what happened after someone pressed play.

For artists willing to study the data, test ideas and adapt their campaigns, that could become an important part of the modern release toolkit.

The global rollout is now underway.

And for the independent artist, the dashboard is becoming considerably more interesting.
